Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI)

AIM Control (AIM Group®)  offers a pre-delivery inspection prior to the final delivery of machine and equipment goods as the industrial products in new example new car, vehicles and automobile or new home.

It is important for new product completely before delivery to ensure that the goods perfectly all right, in excellent and satisfactory condition.

There are many ways to call pre-delivery inspection as pre-loading survey (for marine & shipping) or pre-shipment inspection (quality control and certificate for goods) but the scope of survey is the same.

Before a shipment of product is ready for customer, AIM Control (AIM Group®)  inspector is carrying out Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) must be performed on the goods. This inspection not only ensures that in 100% perfect condition, but also completes finishing accessories and devices, etc.

The results of pre delivery inspections are to AIM Control (AIM Group®)  issues a certificate to guarantee that no problems.

The PDI checklists of quality will be noted any items of product that are damaged, missing, incomplete, defecting or not operating properly for user doing warranty complaints.

Stage of pre-delivery inspection carried

  • Sample Evaluation

  • Factory Supplier Audit Visits (several criteria, QMS & risks)

  • Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) – acceptance quality limit (AQL) for lot-by-lot inspection is used as a criterion for inspection with level in ISO to remedy any identified problems at this time.

  • Goods Receipt Inspection (warehouse or destination)

  • Container Stuffing (Can be done together with PDI)

  • Post-delivery Inspections (Random sample Check or Can Result in 100% Rejection of Consignment)

Noted:

It is important to understand that passing a PDI does not absolve (exempt) suppliers from their liability if product quality is not acceptable under designed use.
